The history of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Belgorod dates back to 1994 when a Co-mission team came to teach a Christian morals and ethics course in area schools. Fred Peace, the team leader, organized a Bible study for the interpreters working with the team and their family members. As they studied the Scriptures many realized their need of salvation and received Christ as their personal Savior. During the following years the Bible study group grew into a church. The first worship service was on February 11, 1996. Since then every Sunday we come together to worship and glorify God. Now our church is moving towards particularization, or self-governance. Men are in training for the offices of elder and deacon.

I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
